Share your referral link to give a new community member 50 Rooted Merits and E-Resident status. You receive 100 Rooted Merits, plus the ongoing 15% referral commission.
E-Residents and community members can now use the referral program to give new people a direct start in the community.
When a new user creates an account through your referral link and completes their account identity, they receive 50 Rooted Merits—enough to become an E-Resident. In practical terms, this makes it possible to gift E-Residency to someone new at no cost to them.
As the referrer, you receive a one-time reward of 100 Rooted Merits for each successful referral.
This temporary incentive is in addition to the regular referral benefit: you continue to receive a 15% commission from all donations toward Rooted Merits made by your referred users, including one-time donations and recurring subscriptions.
How to Share Your Referral Link
- Sign in to the app.
- Open Community → Referrals.
- Find your personal referral code and select Copy App Link for direct sign-up, or Copy Website Link to share the main website.
- Send the link to someone who has not yet created an account.
- The new user must register through your link and complete their account identity.
- Once they have done so, create an inquiry from the Referrals page to request your one-time 100 Rooted Merits reward.
The 50 Rooted Merits are granted to the referred user after they have registered through the referral link and completed their account identity. The referrer’s 100 Rooted Merits are available through the referral reward process.
This initiative follows the passed Congress decisions:
The incentive applies until there are 1,000 titled accounts (E-Resident and above), unless it is extended through a future Congress decision.
